LSG VS KKR : आज ८ एप्रिल २०२५ रोजी आयपीएल २०२५ मधील २१ वा सामना कोकलत नाईट रायडर्स आणि लखनऊ सुपर जायंट्स यांच्यात ईडन गार्डन्स कोलकाता येथे खेळाला गेला. दोन्ही संघांनी यापूर्वी दोन दोन विजय मिळवलेले होते. दोन्ही संघांना या हंगामातील आपला तिसरा विजय मिळवण्याची प्रतीक्षा होती. मात्र या लढाईत LSG ने KKR ला हरवून बाजी मारली.

मारक्रम बाद झाल्यानंतर खेळपट्टीवर मिचेल मार्शची साथ द्यायला निकोलस पूरण आला. या दोघांनी अतिशय तुफानी फटकेबाजी केली . मिचेल मार्शने ४८ चेंडूत ६ चौकार व ५ षटकार मारत ८१ धावा काढल्या. दुसऱ्या बाजूने निकोलस पूरणने सुद्धा अतिशय झंझावाती फलंदाजी केली. त्याने आंद्रे रसेलच्या षटकात २४ धावा काढल्या. त्याने ३६ चेंडूत तब्बल ८ षटकार आणि ७ चौकार मारत एकूण ८७ धावा काढल्या.
कोलकात्याच्या गोलंदाजीची लखनऊच्या फलंदाजांनी पिसे काढली. आज संघात समाविष्ट झालेला कोलकात्याचा गोलंदाज स्पेन्सर जॉन्सन सगळ्यात महागडा गोलंदाज ठरला. त्याच्या तीन षटकांमध्ये लखनऊच्या फलंदाजांनी ४६ धावा कुटल्या. मिचेल मार्श आणि निकोलस पूरण यांच्या झंझावाती अर्धशतकांच्या जोरावर लखनऊ ने कोलकात्या समोर २३८ धावांचे विशाल लक्ष्य ठेवले.
